What to Watch Tonight? The State of The Union is throwing a monkey wrench into programming tonight with a lot of 9 and 10 pm favorites being preempted. We still have all new shows on The CW like The Flash and Roswell, New Mexico. Also, our Top Pick to Watch, Project Blue Book (which usually gets bumped for New Amsterdam). On BET, the new bio pic series, American Soul, premieres tonight and we’re so nostalgic for Soul Train that we will definitely be checking it out. What are you watching?
What To Watch Tonight? Oh, friends, we’re deep into the Winter break already and it’s only just begin. There isn’t a new episode of scripted television anywhere you look. So, let’s plum the depths of Holiday shows with The CW’s Greatest Holiday Commercials Countdown 2018 and Greatest Holiday Video Countdown. Also on, a winner is announced on The Voice.

A decent night of TV with new episodes of The Bold Type and Animal Kingdom. Also, for you Tennis fans, The CW has an introspective on legends Federer and Nadal – just in time for Wimbledon.
Most importantly, on Twitter, at 10p (EST), we’ll be live tweeting our next installment of the LOST Series re-watch with episode 11, “All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues” (a Jack episode – always the most screwed up)! Follow me on Twitter (@Popcultureview) and tweet along with us! We have to go back!
Typical Tuesday night fare with The Flash, Black Lightning, Bellevue and Drunk History, rounding out our favorite picks.
Also, if you’re bored, or if you just want to be entertained, check out Pop Culture Mike’s appearance on SMS On Air’s TV Talk — a one hour internet radio show where we chat about all things TV. Its hi-jinks and shenanigans! TV Talks begins at 8pm (ET). To listen, just click the clicky here:
Superhero Tuesdays are back!! In our continuing post-Olympics after glow, we’re feeling rejuvenated and ready for new episodes of our Favorite Shows. Tonight, we have new The Flash, Black Lightning (our Top Pick of the Night) and in the 10pm hour, we’re officially moving Bellevue into our 1st place slot – I’ve enjoyed the season so far and its worth giving it the eyeballs so maybe it gets a Season 2.
These Winter Olympics are just murdering new episodes of TV. Even The CW is bowing to repeats tonight so no new The Flash OR Black Lightning. So, we are going with lots of Drunk History and Impractical Jokers and at 10pm, Bellevue. Only a few more days until these Winter Games end.
All new Black Lightning tonight at 9pm and then? Lots and lots of Winter Olympics coverage. Enjoy!! And make sure you’re caught up with our deep dive recap of last week’s Black Lightning before tonight’s ep here!!
Its The CW Tuesdays so we are loving us some The Flash and Black Lightning (hoping I get my deep dive recap up in time for tonight’s episode …). But elsewhere, we are excited to see Tobias Fornell return to NCIS and we are adding two new recommendations, This Is Us (on a probationary status) and Bellevue (look up where WGN America is located in your cable subscription). And, as always, Drunk History is a Top Pick for the night!
The State of the Union Address will be taking up most of the oxygen in the room tonight, dominating broadcast TV from 9-11 (ET). But, we persevere! The CW is offering up fresh new episodes of its superhero block, The Flash and Black Lightning (read our deep dive recaps to stay caught up), and Comedy Central is giving us the funnies with new Drunk History. Its business as usual on basic cable tonight, SOTU be damned!
Tonight, Barry is doing thug life time while the Trickster returns to menace Central City on an all new The Flash; in Freeland, Jefferson Pierce is trying to figure out if he should be Black Lightning once again; and at 10pm, the season 5 premiere of Drunk History featuring kickass heroines through time.
