What To Watch – Thursday, March 22, 2018

Other than brand new Gotham, tonight is kind of a weird, bland night for TV. The CW shows are on repeat and on ABC, Shonda’s empire expands with a 2 hour premiere of her firefighter spin-off to Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19.  Also, BASKETBALL! Everywhere.

STATION 19 – “Stuck”/”Invisible To Me” – When the team responds to an apartment fire, Captain Pruitt takes a hit, the future of the station’s leadership is in jeopardy and firefighter Andy Herrera is forced to step up. Meanwhile, new recruit Ben Warren is trading in the scalpel for a fresh start as a firefighter, but it hasn’t been easy and he has a hard time realizing that emergencies in the field are vastly different than those at Grey Sloan Memorial. With the absence of Captain Pruitt, Andy and Jack try to navigate how to work together, and a car accident on a rural road puts both the victims and the crew’s lives at risk, on the series premiere of “Station 19,” THURSDAY, MARCH 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. TV Recap: The Magicians – The Enemy of My Enemy …

The Magicians
“The Art of the Deal”
March 14, 2018

Fairy Rebellion. After-Life Ruminations. Political Intrigue. Book Club and Cupcakes. After a few weeks of ground breaking story telling episodes, The Magicians gave us a jam-packed episode of forward moving story progress. Other than Kady, who had the week off, all of our Magicians had story line movement this week which is essential as pivot towards the end of the season.  A Note: After consultation with everything The Magicians puts out, I am reverting to the base spelling of Fairy in lieu of Faery.  I think the latter is more correct but every where else, they use Fair(y)(ies), so there you go.

Our deep dive recap and review (Beware! Spoilers Ahead) … After the jump!
