“Best Of” List – Best Kick Ass Female Warrior on TV

As the Holidays draw near and new episodes of TV shows become scarce, I’d like to take a moment to step back and see where we stand so far in this 2017-18 television season.

Last week, I took to Twitter to conduct a series of super scientific tests, to gauge the opinions of the masses on what they are enjoying most so far this season.

The question posed for this post: In a crowded field of strong women on TV right now, who do you pick for your team, who has got your six?  Read on for the results …

What To Watch – Wednesday, December 20, 2017

So, as it turns out, even with Mr. Robot having its finale last week, Wednesdays remain a pretty good night of television! We have back to back episodes of The Librarians, new Vikings and History’s newest show, Knightfall – which I am on board with.   For your Christmas-special choices, Dean Cain counts down the best Christmas movies and an hour long visual presentation of that creepy holiday classic, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

“Best Of” List – Best New Fall Show on NBC

As the Holidays draw near and new episodes of TV shows become scarce, I’d like to take a moment to step back and see where we stand so far in this 2017-18 television season.

Last week, I took to Twitter to conduct a series of super scientific tests, to gauge the opinions of the masses on what they are enjoying most so far this season.

The question posed for this post: What is the Best New Show on NBC this season? Read on for the not at all surprising results …

What To Watch – Tuesday December 19, 2017

No regular TV tonight, at all. Well, The Voice I guess. If you’re into the monster hit, singing competition, then you already know that tonight is the Season 13 finale – a winner will be chosen! Otherwise, we’re having the feels for orphans with Josh Groban, or reviewing the Tear that was with ABC, or deep diving into newly declassified JFK materials.  Weird night.

What To Watch – Monday, December 18, 2017

Read a book tonight, friends. Or wrap presents. Shit is a desert of no TV.  I mean, there is a very special Scorpion wherein Walter does the whole turn on Dickens’ Christmas Carol, but otherwise, blech.

What To Watch – Friday, December 15, 2017

Oh boy, Fridays in December … at least we still have MacGyver. Speaking of; after breaking our freaking hearts last week (Lucas Till sold us all the feels), it looks like we get back to some classic hijinks this week. And Mac gets arrested so that will be fun!  Also, some Christmas Specials and an episode of Impossible Engineering that resonates with me, personally.

What To Watch – Thursday, December 14, 2017

Friends, you can watch TV tonight. You can, that’s cool. You can watch Thursday Night Football (Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts) on NBC or the 2017 iHeart Jingle Ball Concert on The CW (I had friends that were there when it taped, T Swift and Ed Sheeran were great), both at 8pm ;. or you can watch Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas and Taraji P. Henson‘s Taraji’s White Hot Holidays, from 8-10 on Fox? And at 10? S.W.A.T. is new on CBS as is Damnation on USA, or Drunk History repeats on Comedy Central.

But really, this si what you need to watch tonight … Continue reading “What To Watch – Thursday, December 14, 2017”

What To Watch – Wednesday, December 13, 2017

I was all prepared to write a gloomy post about how reruns suck and life is meaningless BUT The Librarians season 4 premieres tonight so rejoice!! I think I am only 1 of like 4 people that watches this show but I have been a fan since day 1. Seriously, get ready to hear about The Librarians a lot over the next 2 months.  I can’t even.  Basically, Noah Wyle plays Flynn Carsen, the Librarian. The Librarian is an ancient post handed down generation to generation, charged with protecting the world’s most valuable artifacts, magical and otherwise.  He’s assisted by his Guardian, Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn), a badass warrior chick who is charged with keeping Flynn alive; a super computer named Jenkins (in the form of John Larroquette); and 3 helper Librarians, each with a unique genius skill set.  Its awesome and funny and fun. Watch it!

What To Watch – Monday, December 11, 2017

Wow, Mondays fell apart fast. I feel like we went from having too much to watch to now, cobbling together a night.  With Supergirl and The Good Doctor on their winter rests, thank the maker we still have The Gifted and Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics to keep us company. Unfortunately, both of those are hitting their finales tonight as well (mid-season for The Gifted, season for Kirkman).  Also, Scorpion (which hopefully is resolving the Cabe storyline tonight, yeesh), football, and people trying to National Lampoon Christmas their house. Idiots.
