What To Watch – Tuesday December 19, 2017

No regular TV tonight, at all. Well, The Voice I guess. If you’re into the monster hit, singing competition, then you already know that tonight is the Season 13 finale – a winner will be chosen! Otherwise, we’re having the feels for orphans with Josh Groban, or reviewing the Tear that was with ABC, or deep diving into newly declassified JFK materials.  Weird night.

1st Choice:  A Home for the Holidays With Josh Groban.  “Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown perform during this annual event to raise awareness about adoption and foster care.” CBS

2nd  Choice:  The Voice. A recap of the finale performances … from last night? Can anyone say, filler much?  NBC

3rd Choice:   Finding Your Roots With Henry Louis Gates Jr.Comedians Amy Schumer, Aziz Ansari and Maya Rudolph take a serious look at their family trees, learning contrasting stories of assimilation, independence, hardship and success all over the globe.” PBS

1st Choice:  The Voice. Part 2 of the Finale where in the winner of Season 13 will be announced! NBC

2nd Choice:   The Year: 2017.  In case you’re feeling nostalgic for 2017, take a gander at what went down, “A look back at the year’s historic and memorable moments in politics, pop culture and more. Included: President Trump’s first year in office; and the #MeToo movement.” ABC

3rd Choice:   Grave Secrets. “Police are dubious when a woman reports her father Dwight Tobyne missing after eight months. None of the Tobynes seem eager to talk, least of all Dwight’s wife Shari. This family’s secrets will lead detectives to a grim discovery in the Arizona desert.”  ID

10pm Hour:

1st Choice:   The Year: 2017. Continues on ABC

2nd Choice: The Voice. Finale continues on NBC.

3rd Choice:   JFK Declassified: The New Information.  Remember a  couple of months ago, President Trump made a big show of declassifying a bunch of JFK files? Well, History Channel has gone through them and here is what tehy found… “On October 26, 2017, the federal government released thousands of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Bob Baer examines the documents and reconciles the discoveries.”  SCI
