A Million Little Things “Goodnight” (Episode 208)
November 14, 2019
This week on A Million Little Things …
Man, Delilah is the absolute worst. She and Katherine are like the angel and devil on Eddie’s shoulders. But, let’s back up and focus on Rome. I am not going to go through all of the details, because I’d rather focus on some key relationship moves today, before we head into next week’s Fall finale.
As a side note, I really wish this Fall finale thing wasn’t a thing. Remember when there was just a season with a season finale? Once they started down the Fall finale road, it created a need for cliffhangers and big episodes. Can’t we just acknowledge that the show will return after the holidays and not make such a big deal out of it? Okay, rant over. Now we can move on. Catch up on all of our recaps for A Million Little Thingshere.

Stumptown “Missed Connections” (Episode 102) October 2, 2019
In last week’s pilot episode of Stumptown, we met Dex Parios, an amateur private eye with some Afghanistan PTSD sprinkled in among a lot of sassy attitude. Dex has a platonic bestie, Grey McConnell, who owns a new bar where she drinks free beer and an awesome younger brother, Ansel , that she takes care of (or does he take care of her?). Her first episode also introduced a cop, Detective Hoffman, who she may a romantic entanglement with and Hoffman’s hardass boss, Lieutenant Cosgrove.

Stumptown “Forget It Dex, It’s Stumptown” (Episode 101)
September 25, 2019
Stumptown follows Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders), a Marine veteran working as a kickass private investigator in Portland, Oregon (a/k/a Stumptown). Dex’s only family is a younger brother, Ansel (Cole Sibus), born with Down Syndrome. Suffering from PTSD (from her military service in Afghanistan), Dex faces a chaotic life filled with mounting gambling debt, regret and guilt over the death of a loved one, and a penchant for exorcising her demons through casual sex.
Dex Parios is brash yet massively charming. You can’t help but like her, especially that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She’s savvy, whip smart, quick-witted, and sharp-tongued, all the while having her heart in the right place.
Stumptown is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Greg Rucka and Matthew Southworth (definitely give the series a read!). Read on for our recap and review of Pilot episode of Stumptown … BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!!
