Wednesday nights are the best nights for fantastic TV. Unfortunately, its ALL stacked at 10pm. Our Top Pick To Watch Tonight is Reverie (catch up on our recap of last week’s episode here) but we’re also checking out Colony AND Six – DVR don’t fail us now!
Earlier in the night, we play with dinosaurs on American Ninja Warrior and listen to the “fucking donkeys” on MasterChef. But really, its all about getting to 10pm.
Summer TV is here. That means lots of wacky game show and reality shows like Beat Shazam, America’s Got Talent and World of Dance. Thankfully, we have a quality season premiere tonight with the return of HUMANS, on AMC. Try and get caught up and with this sci-fi drama, its completely engrossing! Also, new Legion!
Most importantly, on Twitter, we’ll be live tweeting our next installment of the LOST Series re-watch with episode 7, “The Moth” (a Charlie episode)! Follow me on Twitter (@Popcultureview) and tweet along with us! We have to go back!
Tonight’s big ticket item is the much anticipated Summer Series, Dietland on AMC. PCR will be covering this show so I hope you’re as excited for this new Joy Nash and Julianna Margulies series, as we are.
Its Fireball Friday which can only mean one thing?!? You need to tune into TV Talk (https://somanyshows.com/sms-on-air) at 8/7c where I will be co-hosting all of the hijinx and shenanigans! You DO NOT want to miss tonight’s show.
Elsewhere, Quantico is all new as is Phenoms (a limited documentary series highlighting athletes expected to be breakout stars in the World Cup). Around the dial, new Live PD, The Last 24, The Tesla File and Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition. Fridays in the Summer are rough. See you on TV Talk!
Um, unless you’re into basketball, there is nothing on TV tonight. Like, really. Nothing.
If you are into basketball, go with Jimmy Kimmel Live pre-game show at 8pm followed by tip off of Game 1 of the NBA Finals (Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors), all on ABC.
Reverie, a new drama embarking on it’s pilot season with NBC, premiered tonight and here you will find everything you need to know about the Pilot episode. As of right now it appears the season will be 10 episodes. If you find yourself here and didn’t hear of Reverie or the preview didn’t catch your attention, well stop reading and go watch and come back after you finish.
NBC didn’t do Reverie any justice with the preview for the Pilot. In fact, because of the preview, I wasn’t going to watch but then Mike [Ed. Note: Really Cool Guy, that Mike] said I should give it ago and I’m glad I listened. So as you go forward please leave any prior qualms you had about the show aside and proceed with an open mind. You’ve been warned spoilers ahead.
Killing Eve
“Don’t I Know You?” (Episode 103)
April 22, 2018
A game changing episode of Killing Eve – and when you only have 8 episodes, a game changer can come in episode 3. The take away from tonight’s episode is that the stakes are real, the stakes are are high, and the stakes come at a cost. Also, maybe, no one is safe in this world of spy versus assassin, prey versus predator.
