What To Watch – Thursday, November 30, 2017

Arrow isn’t on tonight friends because, you’ll recall, it was on Monday night this week for the amazing Crisis on Earth-X crossover event.  Which is fine because it frees up to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas (squee); Christmas done Disney style (squee), Football and Soccer … all in one night!!

1st Choice:  A Charlie Brown Christmas. Of all the Charlie Brown Specials that air throughout the year, there is NONE greater than A Charlie Brown Christmas; watching Chuck bemoan the meaning of Christmas while his friends take a hipsterish apathy towards the true spirit of the Holiday. Its just amazing and that Tree. That sad, pathetic little Christmas tree. It give me all the feels.  ABC

2nd Choice: Gotham.  “Gordon tries to broker a deal with Penguin that involves Sofia. Meanwhile, Alfred tries to pull Bruce out of his teenage-angst and downward spiral, as Lee Thompkins gains more control over the Narrows” FOX

3rd Choice: Thursday Night Football.  I am an angry, disgruntled Giant fan so sure, watch these 2 losers from the NFC East battle each other while I sit over here and pout.  “Washington Redskins (5-6) at Dallas Cowboys (5-6). From AT&T Stadium. NBC

9pm Hour:

Cr: Michael Becker/FOX

1st Choice: The Orville.  “Kelly discovers that Lt. John Lamarr is smarter than he lets on. So, she pushes Ed to consider him for a key leadership position on the ship after The Orville gets damaged by a mysterious spatial anomaly causing harrowing effects to all things living”  FOX

2nd Choice:  The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration. “Julianne Hough, Nick Lachey and Jesse Palmer host a holiday celebration that features Ciara, Darius Rucker, Fifth Harmony, Fitz and the Tantrums, Hanson, In Real Life, Jason Derulo and Lea Michele. From Walt Disney World” ABC

3rd Choice: Thursday Night Football. Continues on NBC.

10pm Hour:

1st Choice: Thursday Night Football. Continues on NBC.

2nd Choice:  MLS Playoffs. Actually begins at 10:30 but you can watch Sportscenter for a half hour.  “MLS Soccer Playoff: Seattle Sounders vs. Houston Dynamo (Leg 2)”  ESPN

3rd Choice: Devil’s Advocate. If you can find the POP Channel, check out this campy film from 1997 with a pre-The Matrix Keanu Reeves, a Devilish (see what I did there) Al Pacino and a very hot Charlize Theron. POP
