What To Watch Tonight? It’s Super Bowl LIII! I am a mild football fan at best (go sportsball!) but I do love watching the Super Bowl. Why? Well, it’s a national cultural event in it’s own right but mainly, the commercials. I watch for the commercials! Most everything else is in repeats tonight but we do have Puppy Bowl XV, as well as all new True Detective, Counterpart, and Crashing . James Corden’s new talent competition show, The World’s Best, premieres after the Super Bowl. What are you watching?

This is the time of the year when all the networks makes their pilgrimage to the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, California. Yesterday, it was The CW’s turn to give us the lowdown on things to come (all of the CBS-related network went I, believe) and we got some very interesting news.

How in the Hell is it already February?!? Time marches on and here we are at another Friday. What To Watch Tonight? Well, our favorites are all back this week (last week sucked) so we have some good choices tonight. Our Top Picks to Watch Tonight are MacGyver and The Blacklist. Also on, new Hawaii Five-0, Dynasty, Blindspot and Hell’s Kitchen. What are you watching?
What To Watch Tonight? Real talk, Thursdays are my least favorite night of TV during the week. That being said, there are some bright spots, such as The Orville, Our Top Pick To Watch Tonight. Also high on our list, Siren and Gotham. Elsewhere tonight, we have all new Supernatural, Legacies,A Million Little Things and S.W.A.T. Online, a new episode of Star Trek: Discovery premieres on CBS All Access.

“Pilot” (Episode 101)

I Am The Night, a six-episode period drama on TNT, premiered tonight. Like 2018’s successful run of the suspense thriller, The Alienist, I Am The Night is part of what TNT calls, “the TNT Suspense Collection.” The series is based on the life of Fauna Hodel and her 2008 autobiography, One Day She’ll Darken: The Mysterious Beginnings of Fauna Hodel (co-written with J.R. Briamonte). The show stars India Eisley (as Fauna) and Chris Pine (as Jay Singletary), and is directed by Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman).
TNT’s official synopsis of the show is, “Inspired by true events, I Am The Night tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a teenage girl who is given away at birth, and grows up outside Reno, Nevada. Fauna lives more-or-less comfortably with the mysteries of her origin, until one day she makes a discovery that leads her to question everything. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets of her past, she meets a ruined reported (Chris Pine), haunted by the case that undid him.
“Together they follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Los Angeles gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in some of Hollywood’s darkest debauchery, and possibly, its most infamous unsolved crime.”
