What To Watch Tonight – Wednesday, September 25, 2019

What To Watch Tonight? Premiere Week continues tonight though at a slower rate than the last two days. All of the Chicago Shows (Med, Fire, and P.D.) are back tonight, as is ABC’s Wednesday comedy block, as is Fox’s surprise hit from last year, The Masked Singer. But, for us, the Top Pick To Watch Tonight has to be the series premiere of ABC’s Stumptown (which we’ll be recapping this season)! Check out all of our picks below! What are you watching?

8pm Hour: 

Cr: The Michael Becker/FOX.

1st Choice: The Masked SingerSeason Premiere. “Return of the Masks: Groups A & B. In the Season 2 premiere, eight undercover celebrity singers face off against one another in head-to-toe costumes. Collectively, all of the Season 2 undercover celebrities have amassed 69 Emmy Award nominations, 42 Grammy Award nominations, 22 Broadway shows, three New York Times Best Sellers and two have been named TIME magazine’s Most Influential People.” Fox

2nd Choice: Country Music.  “Don’t Get Above Your Raisin (1984-1996). How “New Traditionalists” like George Strait, Randy Travis and the Judds help country music stay true to its roots. Witness both the rise of superstar Garth Brooks and the return of an aging Johnny Cash to the industry he helped create. The series finale.” PBS

3rd Choice:  Chicago Med. Season Premiere. “In the Season 5 premiere, Will and Natalie face the aftermath of a horrific car incident and are left to battle for their lives. An investigation is launched following the suspicious death of the elder Cornelius Rhodes, Dr. Rhodes’ father. Maggie receives life-changing news. Dr. Charles cuts his honeymoon short to tend to a young patient he suspects might have schizophrenia.” NBC

1st Choice: Stumptown. Series Premiere. “Dex Parios – a strong, assertive and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt and a brother to take care of – works as a PI in Portland, Oregon. With only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own, finding herself at odds with the police and in the firing line of criminals.” ABC

2nd Choice:  American Horror Story: 1984. “Darkness descends upon the camp. Although it’s lights out, evil has no curfew.” FX

3rd Choice: Chicago P.D. Season Premiere. “In the Season 7 premiere, Voight’s grudge against the mayor-elect puts him under suspicion when Kelton is found murdered. Upton and Halstead are eager to prove their sergeant’s innocence, but the more evidence they gather, the closer they come to doing the opposite.” NBC
