What To Watch Tonight? For New Yorkers (like myself), it’s really not Christmas time until the tree is lit in Rockefeller Center. Tonight is that night; celebrate with the 87th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center!  Also, the season 6 (and final) premiere of long time PCR fave, Vikings! Back to back episodes plus a Floki retrospective! Check out all of our picks below. What are you watching?

8pm Hour: 

NBC

1st Choice: 87th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center. “Just before the lighting of the iconic tree in Rockefeller Plaza, audiences will be treated to festive performances by Chicago, Brett Eldredge, Derek & Julianne Hough, John Legend, Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, NE-YO, Gwen Stefani, Straight No Chaser, Skylar Astin & Alex Newell from NBC’s midseason drama, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist,” and appearances by Miss America 2019 Nia Franklin and the Radio City Rockettes. NBC’s “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, Al Roker will host the joyous event.” NBC

2nd Choice:  Vikings. “The Saga of Floki. Ivar the Boneless has left Kattegat, on a journey to parts unknown. He encounters a stranger and is flooded with memories of his past, prompting Ivar to recount the saga of the enigmatic genius, Floki.” History

3rd Choice: Riverdale. “As residents across Riverdale begin receiving more mysterious videotapes on their doorsteps, the seniors of Riverdale High eagerly await their college decision letters. Concerned that the stress may be getting to them, Mrs. Burble (guest star Gina Torres), the school’s guidance counselor, meets with Betty (Lili Reinhart), Archie (KJ Apa), Veronica (Camila Mendes), Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to discuss what’s plaguing them.” The CW

2nd Choice:  Vikings. Season Premiere. “It’s six months after the battle of Kattegat, and Bjorn is now king. However, as he struggles with the responsibilities of kingship, he learns that he can’t rely on his mother, since she has other plans.” History

3rd Choice: The Moodys. Series Premiere. “Freshly single, Dan returns to his childhood home for Christmas to find it’s in various stages of disarray, with one functioning bathroom. As the extended family gathers for a welcome meal, Dan meets Cora, with whom he instantly clicks. There’s only one problem: she’s already dating his cousin. Then, in an unexpected turn of events, all the Moodys find themselves living under the same roof again when Bridget, who lives in the Chicago area, returns to her childhood home with a suitcase in hand.” Fox

1st Choice: Vikings. “Messengers arrive in Kattegat with news that presents Bjorn with a dilemma, and as Bjorn attempts to do the right thing as ruler of Kattegat, Prince Oleg of Kiev seems untroubled by his conscience.” History

2nd Choice: Stumptown. “Dex is confronted with unresolved feelings from her past when she is hired by Sue Lynn to investigate a case with the widow of Dex’s former flame. Meanwhile, Dex and Grey’s friendship is put to the test by his new romance with Liz.” ABC

3rd Choice: Making It. “For the first time, the Makers will pair up in the Faster Craft to create a coordinated couple’s costume. In the Master Craft, they’ll each show off their love for a furry friend as they make a house for a special animal in their lives.” NBC
