What To Watch Tonight – Tuesday, January 15, 2019

What to Watch Tonight?  The night starts off great with the return of The Flash from its Winter break. We’ve also got new NCIS early in the night. At 9pm, we’ve got new The Gifted, FBI and the series premiere of Roswell, New Mexico (a reboot of Roswell).  At 10pm, we have our Top Pick To Watch Tonight, New Amsterdam, as well as new Project Blue Book and The Rookie.

8pm Hour:

1st Choice: The Flash. “Nora grapples with the revelation that Thawne killed her grandmother, while Team Flash must stop the formidable team-up of a newly sprung from jail Weather Witch and Silver Ghost, a new meta-tech villain who can control engines and motorized technology. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Cisco discuss creating a meta-human cure.” The CW

2nd Choice:  NCIS. “An old family friend beseeches Gibbs to join him on a road trip to search for a missing military I.D. bracelet. Also, a Navy Lieutenant in NCIS protective custody is poisoned by an infamous drug dealer.” CBS

3rd Choice: Ellen’s Game of Games. “Contestants play “Mount St. Ellen” and “See You Later Alligator” along with “Aw Snap” and “You Bet Your Wife.” The winner of each of the first four rounds advances to “Know or Go” and the person who wins that game advances to “Hot Hands” for a chance to win a cash prize.” NBC

1st Choice:  The Gifted. “The dream of the X-Men is on the verge of failure. In attempts to revive the Mutant Underground, Evangeline proposes a country-wide meeting. Meanwhile, Lauren and Andy continue to disagree in their dreams and the Frost Sisters attempt to intervene. Caitlin makes the risky suggestion of connecting with a family member for vital intel, and Lorna tries to secretly investigate Reeva’s plans for the Inner Circle.” Fox

2nd Choice: Roswell, New Mexico. “In the premiere, Liz Ortecho reluctantly returns to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, N.M., and reconnects with Max Evans, her teenage crush who is now a Roswell police officer. But Liz soon discovers a shocking truth: Max is an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life, along with those of his otherworldly sister, Isobel, and their friend Michael. Elsewhere, Master Sgt. Jesse Manes spearheads a long-standing government conspiracy—unbeknownst to his son, Alex Manes.” The CW

3rd Choice: FBI. “A judge and her daughter are murdered after she sentenced a man to life in prison, and Maggie and OA search for the killer behind the possible retaliation. Dana has a vested interest in this case as she has a history with the victim.” CBS

1st Choice:  New Amsterdam.  “As Max begins his treatment, he realizes that it may slow him down faster than he thought. Meanwhile, Reynolds must deal with an incident from his past when a reporter comes to the hospital and Sharpe and Bloom continue a contentious conversation.” NBC

2nd Choice:  Project Blue Book. “Dr. Hynek and Captain Quinn investigate a West Virginia case of a woman and her two children who witnessed a flying saucer crash near their farm and an alien being emerge from the fiery wreck. Based on the “Flatwoods Monster” Case.” History

3rd Choice: The Rookie. “On Captain Andersen’s orders, Officer Nolan and Sergeant Grey are paired up for the day on patrol. Additionally, Nolan’s son and Grey’s daughter visit their dads on the job and see them in action. Meanwhile, Officer Chen is paired up with Captain Andersen, and Officer Bradford tells Chen to protect her at all costs.” ABC
