What To Watch Tonight? We’ve got the last of the Charlie Brown specials of the year with the perfectly okay, Happy New Year, Charlie Brown. Also on tonight of note, all new Top Chef – one of the few original programs on tonight worth watching. And our other stand by, checking out some excellent episodes of Doctor Who … Tennant isn’t our favorite Doctor but he IS our second favorite Doctor and all of his eps are worth a watch!

This surprisingly funny sitcom finishes off its (series?) season run tonight with back to back episodes. “Emet realizes she doesn’t know very much about her father, and goes to extreme measures to learn more about him. Meanwhile, the guys at work try to open up more to each other.” “When work threatens to get in the way of Emet’s vacation, she finds a creative solution to spend some time away with her family. She asks the guys at GamePunch to housesit while she’s away.” NBC

9pm Hour: 1st Choice: Top Chef. “In a massive twist, Padma’s favorite challenge comes early, but the chefs must first duke it out in an amuse bouche-based Quickfire for Karen Akunowicz and Nina Compton. With twelve chefs remaining, three restaurants will be battling for victory. James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Caroline Styne joins as the guest judge along with Nilou Motamed.
