1st Choice:  American Gods. “While Shadow and Mr. Wednesday take a secret meeting in St. Louis, Bilquis arrives at the funeral home in Cairo, where she engages in a debate with Mr. Nancy and Mr. Ibis; Laura rejoins Mad Sweeney.” Starz

2nd Choice:  Supergirl. “Supergirl must deal with the destructive aftermath of Lex’s nefarious plans. Shocked at what Lex has created, Supergirl faces her biggest challenge yet.” The CW

3rd Choice:  American Idol. “At Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii, the show’s Top 40 contestants perform on the beach in front of a live audience and the superstar judge panel. Following the performances, the judges sit down with each contestant to reveal their fate, culminating with the show’s Top 20 finalists.” ABC

2nd Choice:  Mrs. Wilson on Masterpiece.  “Alec and Alison Wilson marry after meeting in the secret service during World War II. Two decades later, spy novelist Alec dies, and his real story begins to emerge. Alison tracks down his former partner, who was also deceived by Alec’s charms.” PBS

3rd Choice: American Idol. Continues on ABC.

Barry: “In the Season 2 opener, Barry tries to convince Sally and the class to go ahead with a performance despite the absence of teacher Gene Cousineau, who’s grief-stricken after the disappearance of Detective Moss. With Goran gone, Noho Hank and Cristobal’s new partnership faces growing pains and jealousy issues, and back in Cleveland, Fuches learns that replacement hit men don’t come easy.” Veep: “In the Season 7 premiere, Selina evaluates her past and present campaigns; Jonah’s personal life sparks interest among the press; and Amy makes an important decision.” HBO

2nd Choice: Good Girls. “Beth must turn to Dean for help as Turner gets closer to the truth about their crimes, but she unwittingly uncovers a troubling secret about Dean when a familiar face from the past returns.” NBC
