Its Friday the 13th ya’ll so if you’re smart, you are hiding under a blanket and avoiding the world. Certainly, do not go in your bathroom alone if the shower curtain is not pulled back and check under your bed before going to sleep. If you are feeling brave enough to watch TV, here is what you should be checking out!
1st Choice: MacGyver. If you’re not watching MacGyver, start now. Where else are you going to find episode descriptions like this: “MacGyver, using cuff links and a wire, tries to gain access to diamonds in a casino vault before a terrorist group can remove and sell them in exchange for a weapon of mass destruction” Sold! CBS.
2nd Choice: Once Upon a Time. In this new reboot season, I guess anything can happen. I haven’t watched OUAT in about 4 years but it will forever hold a place in my heart because it was the first show I ever recapped on PCR’s predecessor On My DVR. Memories! ABC.
3rd Choice: The Bloody Benders: American Serial Killers. If you need to indulge your Friday the 13th Bloodlust in a not obvious way, check out this ID documentary. ID
1st Choice: Marvel’s Inhumans. I’m all in for this show. I know its receiving a lot of flack for costuming (really? that’s what we’re nitpicking on a fantasy superhero show) but have you seen Lockjaw? He’s adorable and I will brook no dissent. ABC
2nd Choice: Kindred Spirits. Another Friday the 13th Spook Show. TLC
3rd Choice: Friday the 13th. Catch the original Friday the 13th horror film on Starz Encore.
1st Choice: Josh Gates’ Destination Truth. This hour’s new episode is appropriately themed for the day as Josh investigates vampires in Transylvania and witches in Sweden. Travel Channel
2nd Choice: Evil Things. Finish your night with more nightmare inducing TV shows! TLC
3rd Choice: Finish watching Friday the 13th on Starz Encore and then try to get some sleepy. Ha! Good luck!
