Our Normal Friday faves, MacGyver and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are on tonight but also, we’re looking at St. Elmo’s Fire and Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace on the movie front.

1st Choice: MacGyver. “When 32 college students are stranded on a research ship in the Arctic Ocean with no heat and erupting fires, Mac develops an emotional connection to the group leader, via video chat, as he relays how to stay alive as they await a rescue ship. Also, Jack kidnaps Elwood to find out what scam he’s up to next, and Bozer’s feelings toward Leanna grow stronger.” CBS
2nd Choice: St. Elmo’s Fire. this 1985 Brat Pack Classic is always worth a watch when its on. TMC
3rd Choice: Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace. Its not as bad as you think or remember. The final battle scene alone is worth the price of admission. TNT
9pm Hour:
1st Choice: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Daisy decides she will rescue Simmons—even if it means risking everything to do it.” ABC.
2nd Choice: St. Elmo’s Fire. Continues on TMC.
3rd Choice: Deadly Dentists. We can’t get enough of the title so making its second appearance in as many weeks, Deadly Dentists. “Dr. Glenn Engleman has been caring for his South St. Louis neighbors for decades, even though crime is increasing in the area. When several people close to him are killed, detectives soon discover there’s more going on in Engleman’s world than it seemed” ID
