Who has the best ghosts? Who is best at busting? Settle it here, in Ghostbusters World!

For those that don’t know, “AR” means augmented reality. Still lost? An Augmented Reality game is one that places the video and audio of the game in the player’s real world environment. Using GPS location technology and your smartphone’s camera function, the player experiences a game where the objects in the game are placed into the real world on a map that is your real world location. The best known example of AR mobile gaming, before Ghostbusters World, is Pokemon GO, the smash hit from Niantic.

TV News: ABC Gives Put Pilot Commitment To “The Baker and the Beauty” …

TV News: Put Pilot Commitment
Breaking News
October 18, 2018

The popular Israeli series, Beauty and the Baker, is getting an American adaptation called The Baker and the Beauty. ABC has given the new series, a romantic comedy, a put pilot commitment.

The American version is being written by Dean Georgaris (The Meg; The Brave) and the pilot will be directed by David Frankel (Manifest; The Devil Wears Prada). Both men will serve as executive producers. Universal TV, in association with Keshet Studios, will produce.

In a brief conversation with Georgaris, he clarified to PCR (for those that may not know) that “a Put Pilot means the network has agreed to shoot the pilot or pay a penalty to the studio [if it decides not to air the pilot]. The penalty can range from several hundred thousand dollars to several million.”

This will be the second series in as many years that Georgaris teams up with Keshet and Universal, the production companies on his excellent military drama from last season, The Brave.

All American
“Pilot” (Episode 101)
October 10, 2018

All American, airing on The CW, is one of the hottest new shows of the Fall.  From April Blair (Into the Badlands; YOU; Reign), who serves as Executive Producer along with Greg Berlanti (the Arrowverse), All American tells the story of a high school football phenom who moves from his home in Crenshaw, California to play ball at Beverly Hills High School. It follows his ups and down as he navigates a world radically different from the one he’s known before.

The show is based on the life of Spencer Paysinger, a professional football player, and stars Daniel Ezra as the phenom, Spencer James, and Taye Diggs as the coach that recruits him.
