As you sit back and relax tonight with your kid’s Halloween candy hall, enjoy our picks for What To Watch, tonight!
We love us some Mr. Robot but you have to kill a couple of hours before you get to that treat so we highly recommend the craziness happening over in Riverdale this season. Also, SEAL Team and Dynasty are aces for us. Elsewhere around the dial, Season 2 of Stan Against Evil premieres tonight and there is also the final game of the World Series. So, you’ve got options. Except in the 8pm hour. Not much happening there.
8pm Hour:
1st Choice: Riverdale. Archie is headed down a dark path and I love it!! Are you watching this season? You have to start if you’re not! Riverdale is about to explode, ya’ll! The CW
2nd Choice: World Series, Game 7. It all comes down to tonight. Tied 3-3 in the series, someone leaves LA tonight the World Champion! FOX
3rd Choice: Nothing. There is just nothing I want to recommend. Maybe Blacklist if you’ve been keeping up? But really, nothing!
9pm Hour:
1st Choice: SEAL Team. Jason must work with a rival to accomplish their mission this week while under the eye of some military brass. The B Plot is the more emotionally compelling line, since it seems like Clay is the one to inform Brian’s family of his passing following the HALO Practice Jump that turned deadly at the end of last week (I mean, they haven’t officially said it was his buddy Brian but I think that’s obvious). CBS
2nd Choice: Dynasty. This soapy dramafest continues as the Blake and Co. try to figure out their exposure with the stolen phone of the guy Blake totally had killed. The official log line, “The Carringtons’ efforts to protect their secrets – from the world and from each other – lead them outside the protective cocoon of the Manor: Cristal and Blake to their belated honeymoon, Steven to Sammy Jo’s rescue, and Fallon to confront old demons. 10pm Hour:
1st Choice: Mr. Robot. “dom has a close call. elliot chases himself with darlene on the lookout. mr. robot doesn’t have a need for swede. angela gets savage AF” Whomever writes the log lines for Mr. Robot is amazing. USA.
2nd Choice: Stan Against Evil. Season 2 premieres tonight with back to back episodes. From IFC’s press release, “Season 2 picks up again in Willard’s Mill, the small New England town where the perpetually disgruntled former sheriff Stan Miller must begrudgingly get off his couch to solve the mystery of Evie’s time-travelling disappearance. Through thick and thin, the unlikely team continues to battle against the unleashing of wicked demons trying to take over their quaint town, which happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th century witch burning.” IFC
