The Magicians season finale is tonight. I can’t even really deal with that as I’m writing my recap right now for it ahead of tonight and I don’t want it to be over. These 13 hours, as a cohesive unit, have been the most enjoyable season of television I have experienced maybe ever. Not looking forward to waiting a year until Season 4. Also on, Krypton,The Americans, and Life Sentence. But really, The Magicians, that’s all that’s important tonight.
8pm Hour:
1st Choice: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There is so little good on at 8pm, you should watch the first hour of this first installment in the new trilogy series before switching over to The Magicians season finale. “In this continuation of the epic space opera, an ex-stormtrooper, a scrappy desert dweller and a droid companion embark on a journey that brings them face-to-face with heroes from the past, who are now battling a fascist regime called the First Order.” TNT
2nd Choice: Riverdale. Normally our top pick, we’ve bumped it down because its a repeat tonight.”Betty turns to Jughead for help when the consequences of a hasty decision come back to haunt her. Veronica organizes a face-to-face meeting after tensions between Hiram, FP and Jughead spiral out of control. Elsewhere, Archie is forced to make a tough decision after Agent Adams takes things one step too far.” The CW
3rd Choice: Blacklist. “Anna-Gracia Duerte. When an associate of the Nash Syndicate is murdered, Red sets Liz and the Task Force on the case in order to recover evidence crucial to bringing down Ian Garvey. Meanwhile, Aram considers a step forward in his relationship with Samar.” NBC
9pm Hour:
1st Choice: The Magicians. The Season Finale! “The group finds what they’re looking for and attempt once and for all to get magic back.” Syfy
2nd Choice: Life Sentence. “Stella (Lucy Hale) feels like she and Wes (Elliot Knight) need to get back into a romantic rhythm, but things take a turn when Wes gets a surprise visitor. Aiden (Jayson Blair) is torn over whether or not he should tell his father (Dylan Walsh) the truth about the woman he is dating. Meanwhile, Ida (Gillian Vigman) seems to be struggling with Peter’s new relationship which starts to cause problems in her own life. ” The CW
