What To Watch Tonight?  Everything. Everything is on tonight. From the season premieres of the CBS Thursday night comedy block, including the series reboot of Murphy Brown, and S.W.A.T. to the 2 hour season premiere of Law & Order: SVU and the hour premieres of The Good Place on NBC to the 2 hour season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy and the Shonda companion show, How To Get Away with Murder.

8pm Hour:

1st Choice:  The Good Place. “Michael intervenes in the near-death accidents of Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason on Earth, in hopes that a second chance at life allows them to become better versions of themselves. The Season 3 premiere.” NBC

2nd Choice:Grey’s Anatomy.  “In the Season 15 premiere, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial vie for a new position. Meredith is seemingly distracted and struggles to stay focused, and Maggie finds herself the keeper of a big secret while Amelia and Owen try to figure out their relationship” ABC

3rd Choice:   Thursday Night Football.  “Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1) at Los Angeles Rams (3-0). From L.A. Memorial Coliseum.” Fox

9pm Hour:

1st Choice:  The Perfect Murder.  “University of Miami linebacker Marlin Barnes and his friend Timwanika Lumpkins are beaten to death in Marlin’s apartment. As detectives search for the vicious killer, the crime sends shockwaves through the campus and community.” ID

2nd Choice:  Grey’s Anatomy.  Continues on ABC.

3rd Choice:  Thursday Night Football. Continues on Fox.

10pm Hour:

1st Choice:   S.W.A.T.  “The Season 2 premiere: The SWAT team engages in a standoff with human traffickers holding child hostages when a major earthquake hits Los Angeles during their operation and compromises the takedown. Also, while Hondo forms an unexpected personal connection with Deputy District Attorney Nia Wells, Jim Street has trouble adjusting to his new life as a patrol officer.” ID

2nd Choice:  To Catch A Killer. “When a 44-year-old woman goes missing, detectives set their sights on her boyfriend. But as soon as he senses the police are onto him, he flees. A state-wide manhunt ensues, pooling the efforts of precincts across the Lone Star State.” ID
