What To Watch – Thursday, April 5, 2018

Thursday Night starts off strong with LOTS of good choices in the 8p hour, winds down a bit to an all new Arrow in the 9p hour and then really nothing worth your time in the 10p hour.  So, record lots of stuff at 8 and then parse it out over the rest of the evening!

8pm Hour:

(Freeform/David Bukach)

1st Choice: Siren.  “Dale and the local police’s investigation starts pointing directly to Ryn, meanwhile Xander and Calvin’s search for Chris heats up when they locate the nurse who works at the military bunker.” Freeform

2nd Choice: Gotham. “Gordon and Bullock try to stay one step ahead as Jerome zeros in on his next target. Meanwhile, Nygma hosts a riddle game show in the Narrows and faces his toughest challenger in Lee Thompkins, and Penguin goes to see Butch with a proposal.” Fox

3rd Choice: Supernatural.  “Sam and Dean continue to collect the pieces necessary to open a rift to the other world in order to save their family. Their latest quest leads them to a Men of Letters bunker from the 1920s and a hungry god from another dimension. Meanwhile, Ketch makes a shocking decision about Gabriel after an unruly encounter with Asmodeus.” The CW

9pm Hour:

1st Choice: Arrow. This is the episode with the big Ollie and Diggle Fight we’ve been looking at in trailers … “Oliver and Diggle face their biggest challenge yet. Curtis is disappointed to find out his new boyfriend has a firm anti-vigilante stance.”  The CW

2nd Choice:    Mysteries at the Museum.  “Don Wildman investigates the origins of the mob, the dramatic story behind a reluctant ruler, and the piano prodigy who helped thaw the Cold War.” Travel Channel

3rd Choice:  Showtime at the Apollo. Week 6. “Performers with various talents compete in hopes of winning over the Apollo crowd and having the opportunity to come back in the season finale for a chance at headlining their very own show at the legendary Apollo Theater.” Fox

10pm Hour:

1st Choice:    Impractical Jokers.  A whole hour of new Jokers!! TruTV

2nd Choice: Diabolical.  “After sneaking out of his parent’s Garden Grove, Cal., house for a secret late-night party, 19-year-old Jose Najera returns home to find both parents dead on their bedroom floor.” ID

3rd Choice:  S.W.A.T.  “When a young heiress is kidnapped for ransom, Hondo and the SWAT team go on a citywide search to bring her home before she is harmed. Also, the team worries that Mumford is moving too fast when he announces he’s getting married for the fourth time.” CBS
