What To Watch – Monday, May 7, 2018

Mondays are reliably one of the best nights for quality TV all night. We start with new Supergirl, then new The Terror and end with both James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction AND The Crossing both at 10p. An embarrassment of riches!

1st Choice: Supergirl.  “Still reeling after learning about Lena’s secret, Supergirl asks Guardian for a favor that could alter his relationship with Lena forever. Meanwhile, with all three Worldkillers united, Supergirl and the team brace for an epic battle.” The CW

2nd Choice: The Voice.  “The Top 10 perform.”  NBC

3rd Choice:   Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.  “The second week of competition features two rounds of dancing, including a round of team dances. Rashad Jennings serves as a guest judge.”  ABC

9pm Hour

1st Choice: The Terror. “The death of an officer under mysterious circumstances creates paranoia among the men. Crozier discovers some of the crew may be considering mutiny.” AMC

2nd Choice: The Voice. Continues on NBC.

3rd Choice: Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.  Continues on ABC.

10pm Hour

1st Choice:  James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction.  Space! “George Lucas, Zoe Saldana, Jeff Goldblum and others imagine what waits for humans in outer space—and how those discoveries may change humankind.” AMC

2nd Choice: The Crossing.  “Jude is forced to confront his past when he travels back to Oakland to seek assistance from a former colleague. Meanwhile, Caleb reaches out to Marshall after noticing heightened security around the camp; and Sophie experiences an unexpected setback with her plan.”  ABC

3rd Choice:  Running Wild With Bear Grylls.  “In the Season 4 premiere, Joseph Gordon Levitt tackles Kenya’s unyielding terrain with Bear Grylls. Dropped into the elements from a helicopter, Joseph and Bear navigate a perilous rappel, milk a camel for needed hydration, and ascend a massive rock.” NBC
