What To Watch – Monday, April 30, 2018

AMC Visionaries‘ newest anthology: James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction premieres tonight and I will definitely be giving that a look because, James Cameron is kind of “The Man” for Sci-Fi.  Beyond that, we’re looking at Supergirl, The Terror, The Crossing and Good Girls!!

8pm Hour

1st Choice: Supergirl.  “Supergirl and Imra have different ideas on how to stop the third Worldkiller, Pestilence. However, when both Alex and Winn are seriously injured by Pestilence, Supergirl and Imra team up to stop the destruction.” The CW

2nd Choice: The Voice.  “The Top 11 Contestants perform.”  NBC

3rd Choice:   Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.  “This season’s lineup of athletes includes Olympic figure skaters, a former Los Angeles Lakers superstar, an NFL cornerback and a former World Series-winning Major League Baseball player, among others – all vying to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy. During their journey on the show, each one of them will reveal aspects of their lives and personalities off of their respective playing fields to uncover their true selves, their passions and what drives them to compete. Each couple will perform a cha cha, salsa, foxtrot or Viennese Waltz. At the end of the night, there will be eliminations based on judges’ scores and live viewer votes cast during the show’s live broadcast in the EDT/CDT time zones.”  ABC

1st Choice: The Terror. “As the men begin their long march south for rescue, a series of shocking events underscores how vulnerable and exposed their situation has become.” AMC

2nd Choice: The Voice. Continues on NBC.

3rd Choice: Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.  Continues on ABC.

10pm Hour

1st Choice:  The Crossing.  “Flashbacks reveal a haunting connection between Marshall and the early migration. Meanwhile, Jude investigates a mysterious disappearance, and Sophie risks her life and career to help Reece save her daughter.”  ABC

2nd Choice: Good Girls.  “Fearing for their lives, the ladies scramble to try to take down Rio. A kidney becomes available for Sara but Ruby and Stan don’t have the money to pay for it. The three women hatch a plan that will solve both problems—one that involves returning to the scene of their first crime.” NBC

3rd Choice:  James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction.  “From its earliest days, science fiction has asked whether or not we’re alone in the universe. Included: what can aliens teach humans about themselves. The series premiere.” AMC
