What To Watch – Thursday, May 24, 2018

Today is Red Nose Day and NBC, in particular, is going all out with its programming.  From NBC’s website, “Red Nose Day was created by Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer-director Richard Curtis, (“Love Actually,” “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Notting Hill”) and leverages the power of entertainment to bring the nation together to have fun and make a difference for children in need — here in America and around the world. It has raised over $1 billion globally since its launch in the UK in 1988.”

Elsewhere, Siren and Showtime at the Apollo have season finales while ID premieres a new series, Extreme Measures.

What To Watch – Thursday, March 29, 2018

Major League Baseball begins its season today but we’re not here to talk about that (Go Mets!).

No, today we’re looking at the series premiere of Freeform’s newest show, Siren. Mermaids? I’m in! Siren has a 2 hour premiere tonight but if that’s not your thing (mermaids should definitely be your thing), there is long awaited Scooby Doo crossover episode on tonight’s Supernatural, all new Gotham, Arrow and S.W.A.T. Also, Impractical Jokers and those guys are hysterical. Lots of choices to fill your TV viewing night!

What To Watch – Thursday, March 22, 2018

Other than brand new Gotham, tonight is kind of a weird, bland night for TV. The CW shows are on repeat and on ABC, Shonda’s empire expands with a 2 hour premiere of her firefighter spin-off to Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19.  Also, BASKETBALL! Everywhere.

STATION 19 – “Stuck”/”Invisible To Me” – When the team responds to an apartment fire, Captain Pruitt takes a hit, the future of the station’s leadership is in jeopardy and firefighter Andy Herrera is forced to step up. Meanwhile, new recruit Ben Warren is trading in the scalpel for a fresh start as a firefighter, but it hasn’t been easy and he has a hard time realizing that emergencies in the field are vastly different than those at Grey Sloan Memorial. With the absence of Captain Pruitt, Andy and Jack try to navigate how to work together, and a car accident on a rural road puts both the victims and the crew’s lives at risk, on the series premiere of “Station 19,” THURSDAY, MARCH 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. What To Watch – Thursday, March 1, 2018

For being Marvel fans, we sure watch a LOT of DC properties here at PCR and tonight is no different with all new Gotham (mid-season premiere) and Arrow. Different channels but same great brooding DC superheroes (without any actual super powers).

Also on, the premiere of Showtime at the Apollo, Impractical Jokers and the 1986 comedy classic, Back to School, starring Rodney Dangerfield.
