Its Thursday which means new Arrow (for a couple of more weeks anyway), Siren and Supernatural! Returning to the airwaves tonight is the Season 3 premiere of Quantico, our Top Pick To Watch (after Arrow, of course)!
Thursday night has some really solid offerings to watch led by new Arrow, and all of the 8p shows: Siren, Supernatural, and Gotham. The end of the night isn’t great but you can watch something you taped earlier …
Thursday Night starts off strong with LOTS of good choices in the 8p hour, winds down a bit to an all new Arrow in the 9p hour and then really nothing worth your time in the 10p hour. So, record lots of stuff at 8 and then parse it out over the rest of the evening!
Major League Baseball begins its season today but we’re not here to talk about that (Go Mets!).
No, today we’re looking at the series premiere of Freeform’s newest show, Siren. Mermaids? I’m in! Siren has a 2 hour premiere tonight but if that’s not your thing (mermaids should definitely be your thing), there is long awaited Scooby Doo crossover episode on tonight’s Supernatural, all new Gotham, Arrow and S.W.A.T. Also, Impractical Jokers and those guys are hysterical. Lots of choices to fill your TV viewing night!
Brand new Gotham and Arrow lead the night along with new Supernatural and the series premiere of a new trucking show on History, Truck Night in America.
For being Marvel fans, we sure watch a LOT of DC properties here at PCR and tonight is no different with all new Gotham (mid-season premiere) and Arrow. Different channels but same great brooding DC superheroes (without any actual super powers).
Also on, the premiere of Showtime at the Apollo, Impractical Jokers and the 1986 comedy classic, Back to School, starring Rodney Dangerfield.
Wayward Sisters finally arrives tonight via Supernatural, so its a great time to be alive. Also, Arrow returns from its Winter hiatus tonight to find Team Olliver still broken but the threat from Cayden James persisting …
Not a great night for TV, friends. We’re going with The 23rd Annual Critics Choice Awards, mainly because the remarkable Gal Gadot is being given an award from her Wonder Woman director, Patty Jenkins. The only other thing that kind of interests us tonight, Inside The Actors Studio, wherein James Lipton will pepper Ted Danson with questions in his slightly hushed, trademark style. I am curious what Ted’s favorite curse word is.
Other than the series premiere of the newest singing show, The Four: Battle for Stardom, there isn’t much doing on the tube tonight. So, I guess I’ll check it out. I like Fergie and DJ Khaled enough to warrant at least a looksie. Otherwise, check out the Costner classic, The Untouchables, stroll down Waco memory lane or watch a new S.W.A.T.
Friends, you can watch TV tonight. You can, that’s cool. You can watch Thursday Night Football (Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts) on NBC or the 2017 iHeart Jingle Ball Concert on The CW (I had friends that were there when it taped, T Swift and Ed Sheeran were great), both at 8pm ;. or you can watch Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas and Taraji P. Henson‘s Taraji’s White Hot Holidays, from 8-10 on Fox? And at 10? S.W.A.T. is new on CBS as is Damnation on USA, or Drunk History repeats on Comedy Central.
But really, this si what you need to watch tonight … Continue reading “What To Watch – Thursday, December 14, 2017”
